About the Author: Bracha Leora (nee Suzanne) Fenster

Bracha Leora (nee Suzanne) Fenster has taken her Hebrew Name and uses it also as her pen name. She has written poetry and taken photographs for much of her life. Born and raised in Grand Rapids Michigan, she received her BA from the University of Michigan with concentrations in English and Art History. Her first compilation of poems and photographs was a chapbook entitled Just Above the Landing. Additionally, Bracha studied the Life Stories Work writing process with the late Julie Portman, and has facilitated the writing of the life story vignettes with the goal of helping others to gather memoir.
